The Adult Film Industry in need of Bailouts as well?

Well this is pretty humorous. Apparently the 'Big Two' in the US Pornography Industry (Larry Flint Hustler, and Joe Francis Girls Gone Wild), are planning on going to Washington to demand a $5 billion bailout. They claim that the Adult Film Industry was also one of the industries that has been feeling the crunch of the recent economic problems. When I first heard this I thought it was just an attempt at humor by some Late Night talk show host, but upon further investigation, I found that this was a legitimate piece of news.
Now even though I prefer to avoid picking sides when it comes to economic discussions, I just want to say that this is definitely a preposterous situation. At first, I highly doubt that this suggestion will be taken seriously by the House or Senate because we have seen recently how hesitant the US Government is to giving bailouts, by how long it took them to grant the Auto Industry a much needed bailout. The Automobile Industry employs over 3.5 million people in the US, and therefore it is an integral part of our society. And yet it had to face harsh criticism from both the House of Representatives and the Senate before being granted its bailout. And now a bunch of smut-peddlers want to use the American tax payer's money to bailout their industry?
I would like to hear opinions on this matter, because I am highly confused.

It sure has the format of a joke. Matters like this should be dealt with by the personal finances of Flynt and Francis. The US taxpayer deserves more than having their money spent promoting such ridiculous things.
